How to compress an image to 50KB
The 50 KB target is already selected. The tool first lowers image quality, and only shrinks the width and height if you allow it and quality alone isn't enough.

Why forms reject images that are too large
Upload forms set strict size limits to save storage and keep pages fast for everyone. A phone photo is often several megabytes, so it fails a 50 KB limit straight away. Compressing to just under the limit is the quickest way to get it accepted.
Tips to keep the best possible quality
- Crop away empty background first — fewer pixels means more quality per kilobyte.
- Start from the original photo, not a screenshot or an already-compressed copy.
- If the form doesn't require exact dimensions, allow resizing for a sharper result at 50 KB.
- If the form accepts more than 50 KB, choose the largest size allowed.

Can I compress an image to exactly 50KB?+
